ARC. TONYE OLIVER BRAIDE has emerged the 26th president of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. (N.I.A).
At the 55th annual General Assembly of the Nigerian Institute of
Architects, Arc Tonye Oliver Braide was invested as the new President of
the institute. The post of president of NIA is filled by succession.
The aspirant contests for the post of third vice president. If he
becomes successful, he runs the course of succeeding the second and
first vice presidents, before eventually being crowned the president
after six years.
Architect Braide takes over from Architect Waheed Brimmo, who held
the title for two years: 2013 – 2015. Braide will hold the mantle of NIA
leadership from 2015 till the next BGM in 2017
Oliver Braide is the principal partner of Oliver Braide and Associate. He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
